As a former middle school math teacher, I have a passion for working with young people. I work with clients ages 10 and up. The adolescent years can be challenging for teens and parents alike. I enjoy helping preteens and teens improve their self-esteem, foster identity development, navigate relationship challenges with friends and family members, and learn coping skills for managing depression and anxiety.

I use art, sand tray, games, crafts, and other creative interventions with adolescents. Some teenagers prefer to just talk, and that’s fine too. I invite parents to be part of the therapeutic process, as much as they and their child are comfortable. My priority is to create a safe space where adolescents can share their burdens and learn skills to help them navigate the challenges of being a teenager.
